I love these lines from The All American Rejects Move Along.
When all you got to keep is strong,
Move along, move along like I know you do,
And even when your hope is gone,
Move along, move along just to make it through,
Move along.
People have the habit of flitting in and out of my life. Or rather, I have the habit of meeting people who flit in and out of my life. But I understand. They leave because it’s what’s best for them.
And I always hope that they understand that I do what’s best for me, too. I move on.
I don’t think this will be any different from the all the others.
Does everyone else do what I do? When I leave, will everyone I leave behind move on as well?
